Sea Cliff Ave
San Francisco, USA
6am on Baker Beach, with the Golden Gate Bridge glowing quietly behind me, this wasn’t the composition I came for. But as the sun began to rise, this scene unfolded and completely took over.
The homes along Sea Cliff Avenue felt unexpectedly secluded, an oasis tucked into the edge of the city. Built into the rugged cliffside, they seemed to sit in quiet harmony with the landscape as the sky above shifted through soft pinks, oranges, and purples.
Moments after the light peaked, just as I thought the morning couldn’t give any more, a pod of dolphins surfaced offshore. An unplanned frame, a fleeting gift, and the perfect introduction to a city defined by contrast.
