Passage

Prague, Czech Republic

An early morning walk led me here, a narrow canal tucked quietly behind the city’s rhythm. What held my attention wasn’t just the setting, but how the buildings spoke to one another through colour.

Yellows, reds, and soft blues sit confidently along the water, each façade distinct yet balanced. But it’s the muted green building that anchors the frame, weathered, marked by time, its surface telling a different story. Around it, warmer tones appear older in form yet feel carefully preserved, creating a subtle tension between age and upkeep.

A long exposure smoothed the water into stillness, allowing the scene to slow down. The canal becomes less about movement and more about transition. A passage of colour, history, and time, quietly unfolding.
