Autumn doesn’t move as a single event. It arrives unevenly, spreading through the woodland in layers, some trees already turning, others holding on. This frame sits within that in-between moment.

Greens, ambers, and deeper tones overlap rather than compete, creating a quiet variation across the scene. The water below mirrors that complexity, softening the transition further, with drifting leaves marking time more gently than the trees above.

Nothing here is at its peak, and that’s what gives it weight. A small window where everything exists together, briefly, before shifting again.
